A woman demanded that she get chicken nuggets for free because it took restaurant employees too long to prepare them for her, according to police in Texas.

The Waco Police Department said that on Friday night, they received a call from the customer at the restaurant, asking for officers to assist her in getting her chicken nuggets for free.

Waco Police Sergeant Patrick Swanton wrote: “Yes it happens!! We actually had the chicken nugget call last night! Officers were called to a restaurant drive-thru because a customer was mad her nuggets didn’t get cooked quick enough and why she couldn’t get them for free.

“Yes we went on this call. No she did not get them for free. Yes we actually tied up two officers on this call. Waco PD, where life is never normal.”

At around 11:00 p.m., the manager of the restaurant gave the woman her money, but not the chicken nuggets. The police then ordered the woman to leave the restaurant, and she complied.

The identity of the restaurant was not revealed. The woman has not been charged with a crime despite calling police for a non emergency.
