A girl in Florida, told police that she was violently punched in the face while a man forcefully raped her.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) Major Crimes Unit arrested 28-year-old Avisus Sedale Davis, after he raped a girl, who was 13 years old at the time, and impregnated her.

The juvenile reported the rape after she gave birth to the child. The girl told police that she was at the man’s house with her sister.

However, while she was using the bathroom, her sister left the home to go to a store. She stated that Davis forced the door open, came inside and raped her.

The girl told police that she resisted and tried to stop the rape, but Davis punched her in the face. She did not report the rape immediately as the victim said that Davis told her that if she told anyone what happened, “he would shoot her house up.”

Davis denied knowing the girl and he refused to give a DNA sample. However, he was ordered by the court to do so.

Detectives recently received DNA, which confirmed that Davis is the child’s father.

Davis was charged with sexual assault of a victim under 18 years old, cruelty toward child, impregnating a child under 16, possession of marijuana and two probation violations.

He is currently being held in the Marion County Jail without bail.
