(Scroll down for video) A married man who turned down a plea deal of 25 years in prison, has now been given 4 life sentences.

28-year-old Francisco Xavier de Aragon II of Florida, was accused of touching three 6-year-old girls while giving them swimming lessons.

The girls testified in court and they told the jury that De Aragon placed his hand under their bathing suits and he touched their private parts during swimming lessons.

De Aragon was found guilty of molesting the young girls at the Deerfield Beach Aquatic Center, where he worked.

De Aragon maintained his innocence throughout the case. He said that there may have been “accidental contact” while he was teaching the girls how to float, and that they may have misinterpreted that.

However, a jury found De Aragon guilty of all counts that were brought against him, which included one count of sexual battery on a child, three counts of lewd and lascivious molestation and one count of battery.

The charge of sexual battery on a child comes with a mandatory life sentence, but the judge handed down the maximum of 4 life sentences.

While Prosecutor Patyl Oflazian said she is pleased with the sentence, De Aragon is vowing to appeal it.

Before sentencing, De Aragon pleaded with the judge for mercy and he publicly forgave his victims, saying: “to my accusers I say I forgive them.”
