A vulnerable man of the United Kingdom, was severely abused by a group of people who pretended to be taking care of him.

45-year-old James “Jimmy” Prout believed that the three women and a man were his friends, but the sadistic gang took advantage of his vulnerability and severely abused him.

Police discovered that Prout posted pictures of his injuries to his own Facebook account and for some reason, nobody reported the abuse to police.

In one photo, Prout was seen with a missing tooth and he wrote: “‘my muth hurt” (sic). Police learned that the gang used
a hammer and chisel, to knock his teeth out.

He uploaded other photos, showing his bruised body with the words: “My bodie hurt” (sic) and “My sholder hurts” (sic).

Prosecutor Paul Greaney QC said that Prout was tortured by the group, and they often put money into his bank account to cover up their crime.

A jury at the Newcastle Crown Court, heard that the gang of North Tyneside, had a strange relationship, which had “developed into an almost cultish dimension.”

According to court records, the victim was forced to have sex with a dog, his scrotum was sliced open and his testicle was removed. He was then forced to eat it.

Prout died on February 2016, and his body was dumped on wasteland, where it was eaten by animals.

Now, 26-year-old Ann Corbett and Zahid Zaman, 43, were found guilty of murder.

Myra Wood, 45, and Kay Rayworth, 56, were cleared of murder, but they were convicted of causing or allowing the death of a vulnerable adult.

After the verdicts, Prout’s brother, Eddie, said: “The things they did to my brother you wouldn’t have even seen in the worst horror films or your worst nightmare.

“I don’t want them to die, I just want them to suffer the way we are, suffer every single day and have nightmares like I do.”

Insp Andy Fairlamb of Northumbria Police, said that weeks of abuse resulted in his health, both physical and emotional, to deteriorate and it ultimately led to his death.

All suspects are facing years in prison when they are sentenced in a few weeks.
