School principal jailed after pleading guilty to 16 counts of sex crimes involving male students

(Scroll down for video) A school principal was jailed after police saw videos of him having sex with a boy.

The former elementary school principal of Missouri, pleaded guilty on Wednesday, to 16 counts of child sex crimes as part of a plea deal with prosecutors.

The Troy Police Department arrested 40-year-old Phillip G. Brock II, after a 17-year-old victim filed a complaint.

The victim said that he and Brock had sexual contact for several months. The victim showed police videos that he recorded with his cell phone as well as text messages between the victim and Brock.

Authorities executed a search warrant at Brock’s residence and found evidence linking him to other victims.

Brock was the principal of the William Cappel Elementary at the time of his arrest, and was placed on paid administrative leave. He eventually resigned from his position.

The 17-year-old victim was not a student at school, but he new Brock through his other jobs. Brock also served as a youth soccer coach for the Troy R3 School District and other private teams.

Brock pleaded guilty to 10 counts of sexual contact with a student, three counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, and three counts of possession of child pornography.

In accordance with the plea agreement, Brock was sentenced to 15 years in prison.
