(Scroll down for video) A customer of the Food 4 Less supermarket in Stockton, California, was shocked to see mice running through the basket of tomatoes.

Lee Yim said that on Sunday night, his wife told him to get some tomatoes at the Food 4 Less located on March Lane.

As Yim was ready to grab some tomatoes, he noticed something moving in the crate. He looked closer and realized that a bunch of mice were running wild among the tomatoes.

Yim pulled out his cell phone and recorded the mice in the tomatoes. Yim uploaded to the footage on Facebook, where it went viral.

The video set off a firestorm among customers of the Food 4 Less supermarket, leading someone to file a complaint with the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department.

The health department sent an inspector to the Food 4 Less store, and ordered the managers to immediately take pest control measures and remove the produce from the shelves.

Food 4 Less said in a statement that they are aware of the issue and have taken steps to correct the matter.
