A model in New York, who was accused of rape, apologized and said that he thought the victim was his girlfriend, according to a report in the New York Post.

The New York Police Department said that they have arrested 34-year-old Henry Romero of Queens, after being accused of raping the 31-year-old roommate of his girlfriend.

Romero has been charged with rape. He was booked into jail, and his bail has been set at $3,000.

Romero, who works as a model, claimed that he went out with his girlfriend and friends to drink. When he came home, his girlfriend and roommate went to sleep.

After Romero fell asleep, the victim and the suspect’s roommate switched beds for the night. When the victim woke up at 6:00 a.m., she found Romero on top of her and raping her.

The victim yelled “get off of me” multiple times.

Romero later apologized, saying that he thought he was having sex with his girlfriend, and was unaware that they switched beds for the night.

The victim rejected his excuse, saying that it was impossible to confuse the two since one has black hair while the other is blonde.
