A teenager was left humiliated after the hot-looking woman he met on a dating website, turned out to be a man.

The Louisiana teenager landed in jail after he allegedly shot the man who catfished him on social networks.

The Baton Rouge Police Department said that 19-year-old Chauncy Wilkerson met the man, who was posing as a woman, on the dating app TAGGED.

The two spoke for some time, and Wilkerson gave the “woman” his address.

After learning that he was catfished, he stopped communicating with the man and warned him not to come to his home.

However, the love interest showed up come to try to contact him. On Monday, Wilkerson saw the man pull into his driveway. He grabbed his mother’s gun for protection and he along with his mother, went to confront the driver.

When the driver spotted the mother and son, he accelerated and allegedly struck them with his car. Wilkerson then shot at the driver four times.

The man was not injured and he drove away. Officers responded to the 2800 block of Gore Road, and arrested Wilkerson on charges of illegal use of a weapon and aggravated assault with a firearm.

It is not clear whether the other man was arrested.
