31-year-old man kidnaps teen from her Australian home and forces her to marry him in Islamic ceremony

(Scroll down for video) A man in Australia, was ordered to be deported after it was discovered that he kidnapped a woman, forced her to marry him and raped her.

Police were called by a worried family in Bankstown, New South Wales, after their daughter went missing at 2:00 a.m.

Hours later, the 18-year-old victim managed to call police and told them that the man who abducted her, is taking her to Melbourne.

Officers managed to locate the vehicle and arrested 33-year-old Chafic Charyala. He was charged with kidnapping, sexual assault and indecent assault.

Charyala had asked the victim’s family to allow him to marry their daughter, but when they turned down his request, he kidnapped her.

The victim said that the 33-year-old man, who is from Lebanon, forced her out of her bedroom window and threatened to kill her and himself if she did not comply.

He then took her to a hotel before going to a sheikh who married the couple in accordance with Islamic law.

Charyala repeatedly raped the teen against her will.

The 18-year-old woman who wears a headscarf, gave an interview to the media, but her face was blurred and her name was not revealed.

When asked about her ordeal, the teen said: “’It was scary. I just wanted to come back home to my family and not be with him. I can’t stand him. I want to kill him.”

According to some reports, Charyala wanted to marry the woman so that he can get a visa to stay in Australia.

Charyala appeared at the Bankstown Local Court, where he faced a judge with the help of an Arabic translator.

After the judge granted him bail, the suspect was arrested by Border Force officials, and he will be now be deported.
