(Scroll down for video) Police have arrested a father who was preparing to flee the United States, after allegedly killing his son at Disneyland.

35-year-old Aramazd Andressian Sr. of South Pasadena, California, took his son to Disneyland, during his visitation.

5-year-old Aramazd Andressian Jr. was seen on video enjoying himself and going on rides with his father at Disneyland before he went missing.

The boy was last seen leaving Disneyland with his father at about 1:00 a.m.

Later that morning, the father was seen walking near Lake Cachuma in Santa Barbara County, without his son.

The boy was never seen again. Homicide detectives have searched the lake using dogs and a dive team, but the body was not found.

While searching for the missing boy, Andressian Sr. was found passed out in a park. Officials said that the father took prescription pills in an apparent attempt to take his own life.

Andressian Sr. was a suspect in the case, and despite not having a body, police believe that they have enough evidence to convict him of murdering his son.

Los Angeles County Sheriff Jim McDonnell said that Andressian Sr. was arrested by sheriff’s homicide detectives and federal agents in Las Vegas, Nevada, because he was “becoming a flight risk.”

Detectives are calling the murder “pre-planned” and believe that Andressian Sr. killed his 5-year-old son to get back at his former wife. Authorities said that the couple went through a tumultuous divorce at the time.

Andressian Sr. is being held there on $10 million bail.
