(Scroll down for video) A man said that his good deed backfired and caused him a lot of suffering.

The man of Florida, was near the Super Complex in Lakeland, when he spotted a 2-year-old girl walking alone.

He took the child by the hand and went to look for her parents.
However, the child’s father who spotted the man with his child, assumed that the good Samaritan was attempting to abduct his daughter.

The father walked up to the good Samaritan, and instead of thanking him for caring about the child, the father beat him up and called police.

Officers determined that the man was just trying to help and he was allowed to leave. However, this did not stop other people from attacking the good Samaritan.

The girl’s father who allowed his daughter to wander out of his sight and out of the park, still believes that the man was not a
good Samaritan, but he wanted to hurt his daughter.

The father said that the man he beat up was seen walking towards the parking lot, which is across the street from the park, rather than heading to where there were many parents and children.

The good Samaritan said that he received so much abuse that he was afraid for his safety and he had to leave town.
