(Scroll down for video) A woman in California, called an Uber to taker her from Los Angeles to Hollywood, after a party.

At some point during her trip, the woman fell unconscious. She woke up the next morning inside a motel room, but she had no idea how she got there.

The 24-year-old woman called police after she suspected that she was raped.

Officers reviewed surveillance videos and saw the Uber driver, 46-year-old Alaric Spence, walking into the motel to order a room. He then walked back to his car and carried the woman into the room.

Spence was arrested on charges of kidnapping to commit sexual assault. He is being held on $1 million bond.

Uber claims that they did not receive any complaint about Spence while he was working for them.

However, they either did not do a background check or they chose to ignore his prior criminal history.

Spence had 5 felony convictions for possession of narcotics for sale on his record. Police said that the brazen nature of the crime makes them believe that there are other victims.

Authorities released a photo of his vehicle and are asking anyone who may have been a victim to come forward.

Spence is described as a black male, 5 feet 11 inches tall and 225 pounds. He drove a 2015 silver four-door Nissan Sentra with California license plate 7XUX293.
