A brother and sister ended up behind bars after assaulting each other with cupcakes, according to police in Florida.

The Indian River County Sheriff’s Office said that they have arrested 24-year-old Latonya E. Daugherty and 30-year-old Eddie R. Yaddow, after getting into a physical altercation in front of their mother Lisa A. Daugherty.

Latonya has been charged with battery domestic violence while Eddie has been charged with aggravated battery domestic violence.

Both suspects were booked into the Indian River County Jail.

Latonya’s bail has been set at $1,000 while Eddie’s will have to come up with $10,000 to get out of jail.

According to the police investigation, the incident unfolded on Saturday, at around 1:30 a.m., at the siblings’ home, which is located at 1820 Woodland Circle.

Eddie and Latonya began arguing about how to discipline her child.

Latonya, who is pregnant, then picked up several cupcakes with blue frosting and threw them at her brother. In response, Eddie smeared frosting in his sister’s face and hair.

He then kicked her in the abdomen despite the fact that she was pregnant. Police interviewed the siblings’ mother Lisa, who confirmed the story.

Police arrested Latonya for being the primary aggressor, but they also arrested Eddie for using unreasonable force against his sister.
