Police bust drug-fueled gay group sex in priest's home

A priest is being questioned by police after officers found drugs in his apartment during a gay group sex event, according to police in Italy.

Vatican City police sad that they have launched an investigation after neighbors reported people coming and leaving the apartment throughout the day and night.

The neighbors also reported irregular behavior at the home, which was the former Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith.

Police officers who raided the home, encountered a group of men engaging in gay sex. All the men were under the influence of drugs.

Police arrested the priest. The priest is being held for questioning and is facing a charge of drug possession.

The priest is allegedly the secretary of Cardinal Francesco Coccopalmerio. Coccopalmerio leads the Pontifical Council for Legislative Texts, and is an adviser to Pope Francis.
