Drug addict shoots up heroin in police parking lot moments after being released from jail

A drug addict who was desperate for his next fix, used heroin in a police parking lot moments after being released from jail, according to police in Nebraska.

Grand Island police said that they have arrested 25-year-old Cooper Cook, after being seen shooting up heroin in the police parking lot.

Cook has been charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession or use of drug paraphernalia. He was booked into the Hall County Jail, and his bail has been set at $2,500.

According to the police investigation, Cook was first arrested and booked into jail on charges of carrying a concealed weapon and possession or use of drug paraphernalia.

After posting bond, he was released from jail and went to the parking lot. Cook got into his vehicle and pulled out a syringe containing heroin.

Police noticed the suspicious activity, and went out in the parking lot to investigate. Officers saw Cook shooting up heroin and arrested him again.
