(Scroll down for video) A Muslim man of the United Kingdom, married the man who saved his life after being ostracized from his community over his sexuality.

24-year-old Jahed Choudhury of West Midlands, become the first Muslim man to be married in a same-sex marriage.

Choudhury was rejected by the Muslim community because he is gay.

Choudhury said that the mosque that he had been attending the past 15 years told him he was no longer welcomed and he was physically attacked by other Muslim boys.

Two years ago, Choudhury was at a very low point. He has suffered a lifetime of bullying and he decided to take his own life.

While contemplating the suicide, Choudhury sat on a bench in Darlaston, where he was crying in despair.

19-year-old Sean Rogan spotted the distraught man and went over to talk to him. Rogan gave him hope and the two then began dating.

Now, the two decided to get married in a low-key wedding in a ceremony at the Walsall registry office. Both men wore traditional Bangladeshi wedding attire.

Choudhury, who is one of a few openly-gay Muslim men and the first in Britain to marry another man, is now encouraging other gay Muslims to do the same.

However, this does not come without risk. The couple said that they are receiving death threats.
