Man slashed across face for singing loudly in Manhattan’s Times Square

(Scroll down for video) Police are looking for a man who slashed a pedestrian in the face for singing too loudly, according to police in New York.

The New York Police Department said that 25-year-old David Foster, was walking in Manhattan’s Times Square with his friend looking to buy some food.

While walking, Foster was singing to himself. A man approached and told Foster to stop singing. Foster ignored the request and continued singing.

At the end of the block, another man approached and confronted foster for continuing to sing loudly. The suspect then grabbed Foster’s head and slashed him across the face.

The suspect then fled from the scene. The incident unfolded on Sunday, at around 1:25 a.m.

Foster went to a plastic surgeon, and it took the doctor five hours to sew up the wound with 60 stitches. So far, no arrests have been made.

Police are reviewing security surveillance video to identify the suspect.
