(Scroll down for video) A mother and daughter were kidnapped by a couple and they were held hostage for 11 days.

The couple of Florida, who knew the victim, kidnapped her after they got into an argument over the phone.

According to police, 32-year-old Manuel Escobar went to the woman’s home, where he beat her and dragged the mother and her daughter to his car.

He then drove them to his home on Truman Avenue in Lehigh Acres, where he lives with Tahlia Ortiz, 23, and held them captive for 11 days.

At the home, the couple abused the woman, and forced her to have sex with both of them several times in front of her daughter.

The victim told police that the couple knew she was 18-weeks pregnant at the time.

The victim said that the couple choked her several times until she blacked out, threatened her with a hammer and violently raped her.

The couple forced the woman to sleep in bed with them to make sure she did not escape.

On Monday, Escobar went to work and left behind car keys, so the victim took the opportunity to escape with her daughter and alert the authorities.

Escobar and Ortiz claimed that the sex acts were consensual. They are being held in the Lee County jail without bail.
