(Scroll down for video) Police in Florida, are trying to figure out how to stop a young boy from stealing cars after being accused of hanging out with a group of older children who keep committing crimes.

The Daytona Beach Police Department said that they have arrested 10-year-old Damarion Moore, after cutting off his court ordered ankle monitor and stealing a car.

Police said that the boy was arrested 4 times in the past 6 weeks. Each time, Moore successfully stole a car.

Moore, who looks his age, hangs out with older children and gladly shows them how to steal cars.

During each theft, Moore moved the driver’s seat all the way forward to be able to reach the steering wheel due to his short posture.

Six weeks ago, Moore was caught stealing a car from a Target parking lot. He was seen on video breaking into the vehicle, and then driving away.

He was arrested the second time for breaking into a car dealership and stealing several vehicles.

He was then put on a court ordered ankle monitor, but a few hours later, Moore cut it off and stole another car.

He was also caught stealing a car at 3:00 a.m. Moore has been charged with burglary of a conveyance. If convicted, he faces up to five years in prison.

“DBPD is investigating car thefts committed by a 10-year-old boy named Damarion Moore. Police Chief Craig Capri called the situation ‘a tragedy’ and is hoping to work with the youngster’s family to get him some help,” the Daytona Beach police wrote on Facebook.
