Man claims 11-year-old girl became pregnant by raping him while he slept

A man in who was arrested for raping a young girl, claims that he may have been raped by her.

38-year-old Justin J. Armstrong of Massachusetts, is accused of raping and impregnating the 11-year-old girl.

Armstrong denies the allegations. However, he knows that there will be DNA evidence in the case.

According to, Armstrong suggested that the victim may have become pregnant by having sex with him without his knowledge as he slept.

The girl confided in her mother's friend and told her that Armstrong was sexually active with her for about 18 months.

According to Assistant District Attorney Jill O'Connor, after the child told the woman about the rape, a doctor confirmed that she was 4 months pregnant.

The pregnancy was aborted. The results of DNA tests performed on fetal tissue are pending.

Armstrong pleaded not guilty in Springfield District Court to one count of rape of a child by force.

Defense lawyer Anna-Marie Puryear said that her client voluntarily submitted a DNA test as he denies the allegations. Armstrong has no prior criminal history.

Judge Robert Murphy ordered Armstrong to be held on $50,000 bail. He was also warned to stay away from the victim.
