Alligator eats manhood of man who bathed in infested pond

(Scroll down for video) An elderly man suffered horrific injuries after bathing in a pond that was infested with alligators, according to police in Florida.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission said that 68-year-old Fredric Iman Port Charlotte, was attacked by the alligator while he was trying to clean himself in the retention pond located in the area of Suncoast Boulevard and King’s Highway.

Charlotte County Fire & EMS personnel responded to the scene at around 10:30 a.m., on Monday, and took Iman to the Lee Memorial Hospital.

Iman suffered injuries to his left leg, left hand, and manhood.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission officers removed the alligator from the pond. The 9-foot alligator will be killed.

Iman said that he did not feel any pain while being attacked. He also plans to continue bathing in ponds.
