(Scroll down for video) A father surrendered to police after he killed a man who flipped him off.

According to police in New York, 46-year-old Juan Garcia, his son Julian Garcia, and his nephew Joshua Romero, were standing on the side of the road during an unrelated fender bender on the street.

A car allegedly sideswiped Garcia’s green Toyota Camry, near Hollers and Huguenot avenues, at around 7:00 p.m., on Tuesday.

When 25-year-old Billy Sierra and his friend drove past the Camry, Garcia allegedly scolded the driver for speeding on his street.

Sierra, who was in the passenger seat, responded by flipping him off. Garcia became furious over the obscene gesture. He jumped into his car and followed the young men.

When he caught up to their car, the suspect and victim exchange some words. Garcia pulled out a long kitchen knife and stabbed him. Sierra was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center, where he died.

Garcia, a 47-year-old from the Bronx, was arrested and charged with murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon.
