Wyoming County police said that they have arrested 22-year-old Lovily K. Johnson, after being accused of causing the death of 6-month-old Noah Edward Johnson.

Lovily has been charged with murder and child abuse. She was booked into the Kent County Jail, and she has been denied bail.

If convicted, Lovily faces up to life in prison.

According to the police investigation, Noah was home alone with Lovily for four days. The mother strapped her child in a car seat, and kept him in a hot room.

She refused to feed him until he died. After Noah died, Lovily bright him to the Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital. Doctors said that the child was obviously dead at the time.

Lovily had custody of her two year daughter, who was handed over to the Department of Health and Human Services.

Lovily admitted to smoking marijuana while neglecting her child.
