A woman has lost her license to teach after being accused of getting drunk and having sex with a student on a plane, according to a report by the National College for Teaching and Leadership of the United Kingdom.

28-year-old Eleanor Wilson of Bristol, was accused of having sex with the teenage student until another student threatened to expose the relationship unless the teacher had sex with him as well.

Wilson was found guilty of unacceptable professional conduct
and conduct that may bring the profession into disrepute.

The panel heard that Wilson engaged in inappropriate physical conduct with the teenage student during a trip to Geneva, Switzerland.

The teacher consumed alcohol and permitted her student to consume alcohol. She kissed the student on the plane on the way back from the trip and had sex in the toilet.

Wilson had been employed by the school as a physics teacher.

Following the trip, the teacher continued the relationship through text messages and meetings outside of school.

At one point, the principal of the school became aware of the allegations that Wilson was having an inappropriate relationship with her student.

Wilson was confronted about the allegations and following the interview, no further action was taken at that time.

A year later, Wilson received a series of emails from another student in which he confirmed knowledge of the sexual relationship, and warned her that he would inform the school unless she engaged in sexual conduct with him.

These emails were reported to the school and the police. The allegations of the relationship with the first student were further investigated by the school, and Wilson.

Wilson denied all the allegations.
