(Scroll down for video) An argument over cigarettes turned violent and left a pregnant woman with horrific burns, according to police in Florida.

The Hialeah Police Department said that they are looking to arrest 32-year-old Noel Grullon, who is also known as Noel Castro, after being accused of burning his pregnant girlfriend, 27-year-old Allyson Rivera.

He is facing charges of attempted murder, assault and arson.

According to the police investigation, Rivera was at home with her children, 1 and 4-years-old, when Grullon came into her room and yelled about cigarettes.

Rivera pushed him out of the room because he was waking up the children. Grullon left the home and came back with a can of gasoline.

Grullon poured the gasoline on his pregnant girlfriend and lit her on fire. Gullon then smashed her cell phone so she should not be able to call the police.

Rivera ran into the shower and extinguished the flames. She suffered second-degree burns to her upper torso. Rivera went to her friend’s house, and she was taken to the hospital.

She and her unborn child are expected to be fine. Doctors called police after Rivera refused to reveal how she got burned.

After many hours of questioning, Rivera finally revealed that her boyfriend set her on fire during an argument about cigarettes.
