Hotel owner steals dirty towels from restaurant

(Scroll down for video) A hotel owner in Florida, was left red faced after a neighboring restaurant owner published a video showing the theft of dirty towels.

Miami Beach police said that they have arrested 53-year-old Mitch Novick, after being accused of swiping dirty towels from the next door business owned by David Wallack.

Novick has been charged with two counts of burglary to an occupied structure and two counts of petty theft. Novick was booked into jail, pending a bail hearing.

According to the police investigation, Wallack, who owns the Mango’s Tropical Cafe on Ocean Drive, published a video, showing Novick walking towards the back of his restaurant and talking dirty towels.

Novick owns the Sherbrooke Hotel on Collins Avenue. Wallack called police and told them that he warned Novick many times not to take his towels.

Novick defended himself, saying that he always gave back the dirty towels. Novick also published a video, showing how he returned a dirty towel to the restaurant.
