(Scroll down for video) A woman in Texas, is warning anyone who thinks of burglarizing her home in the Katy neighborhood.

Cathy Hanks said: “if you’re going to go into someone’s home, you’re going to get shot. That’s really how we are. That’s just Texas.”

This warning comes after two young men broke into the home of a 60-year-old woman and she shot them.

Harris County Sheriff’s officials said that the two armed men entered the grandmother’s home at about 11:30 a.m., on Fort Bowie Court, which is usually quiet block.

The men entered the victim’s home through an open garage. Both were armed with pistols. The woman, who has not been named, grabbed her own gun and shot at the intruders.

They managed to get out of the home, but one man collapsed and died on the victim’s lawn while the other man escaped.

Police did not yet name the deceased suspect. They are looking for the second suspect, who is 19 or 20 years old. He wore a black shirt and short pants with red underwear.
