(Scroll down for video) Passengers of Southwest Airlines in Tennessee, are angry after their bags were covered in feces from an overflowing toilet.

The incident unfolded on Thursday, at the Nashville International Airport.

A spokesperson for the airport said that at around 5:00 a.m., the women’s bathroom overflowed after someone put paper towel in the toilet.

The floor became soaked in sewer water and then leaked onto a conveyor belt that carried luggage. A total of 380 bags were hit with feces.

All the bags were then cleaned and disinfected. A total of 10 flights were delayed as a result of the overflowing toilet.

Passengers from the Southwest Airlines flight were not told about what happened to their bags until they arrived in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

The airline offered $100 per day for the duration of the trip for travelers as compensation for the trouble.
