(Scroll down for video) Three teens are dead and two others are in jail after car thefts went wrong.

The incident unfolded at 4:30 a.m., in Florida, where 6 teenagers got together and stole two cars.

According to police and family members, all of the teens had run-ins with the law before this incident.

During this incident, the drivers of both cars had allegedly been playing the ‘cat-and-mouse’ game while driving recklessly.

One of the cars, a Ford Explorer with four teenage passengers, was going as fast as 100 miles per hour when it ran a red light and spun out of control.

It hit another vehicle, injuring that driver who was on his way to work. 29-year-old Ricky Melendez was rushed to the hospital. He is now in a wheelchair after suffering injuries, including to his collarbone, hip and ankle.

After hitting the other car, the Explorer flew into the air, hit a billboard and rolled down the road. It hit several cars at an auto shop.

Three teens were killed at the scene. They were identified as 14-year-old Jimmie Goshey, Keontae Brown, 16, and Dejarae Thomas, 16.

The fourth teen, 14-year-old Keondrae Brown, survived. He was taken to a hospital.

The driver and passenger of the second stolen vehicle were not involved in the crash. They were identified as 18-year-old Kamal Campbell, who was the oldest of the group, and Deyon Kaigler, 16.

The two were arrested and charged with one count of grand theft auto and one count of resisting arrest without violence.
