Police in Fontana, said that a white pickup truck smashed into the woman’s car from behind. The impact was so strong that the backseat was completely destroyed.

Step-siblings Isaac Briseno and Ailyn Miguel, both 12 years old
who were in the backseat, were killed.

The three adults who were standing in front of the truck, were all hit. Good Samaritan 60-year-old Jose Prieto, and grandmother, 58-year-old Maria Luisa Rodriguez, died as well.

Maria Briseno, 39, was taken to the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, because she was so hysterical over the accident that paramedics feared she could suffer a heart attack.

Family members said that Prieto was a very good man who always thought about others first and he would always help others in need.
