Boyfriend pushes girlfriend in front of speeding train because he could not control his temper

A man flew into a rage when his girlfriend told him that she was breaking up with him, according to police in Japan.

Soka City police said that they have arrested 27-year-old Wataru Kaga, after being accused of trying to kill his girlfriend because she was about to break up with him.

Kaga has been charged with one count of attempted murder.

According to the police investigation, on Sunday, at around 5:30 a.m., Kaga and his girlfriend were waiting for a train at the Soka Station.

The woman told Kaga that their relationship was over. Kaga became angry and decided to kill his girlfriend.

As the Tobu Isesaki Line train pulled into the station, Kaga pushed his girlfriend onto the tracks. Luckily, the operator managed to stop the train before it hit the woman.

The woman suffered a minor injury to her arm. Kaga was arrested at the scene.

During police questioning, Kaga admitted to pushing girlfriend onto the train tracks, but denied intending to kill her.

Kaga told police that he could not control his temper when his girlfriend decided to break up with him.
