Drunk dentist operated on patients while his blood alcohol level was 5 times legal driving limit

(Scroll down for video) Employees of a dentist became concerned after seeing him perform procedures while he was under the influence of alcohol, according to police in Pennsylvania.

Mars police said that they have arrested Dr. Gregory Bellotti, after being accused of drinking alcohol on the job.

Bellotti has been charged with reckless conduct, and his dental license was suspended.

According to the police investigation, Bellotti drank a large amount of vodka on the day he did work on eight of his 14 patients.

At some point, employees of the Refresh Dental Management, became concerned and called police.

Police officers who arrived at the scene, noticed that Bellotti was confused and was unable to do simple tasks.

Police checked his blood alcohol level and it came in at .418 percent, which is five times the legal driving limit.

He admitted to drinking a bottle of vodka during lunch, but denied working with patients while he was under the influence.
