(Scroll down for video) Many women were shocked and feel betrayed after learning about the arrest of a doctor who they trusted.

The married gynecologist from Utah, was arrested for child sex crimes and for possessing child pornography.

55-year-old Nathan Clark Ward was arrested about three weeks ago, right after he finished performing a surgery on a woman.

He was charged with six counts of sexual exploitation of a minor and possessing child pornography.

Ward was arrested again this week, after more victims came forward. He now faces additional charges, including of sodomy on a child and aggravated sexual abuse of a child.

Authorities began investigating the doctor after being alerted by Yahoo that the account name “clark_bueno” was uploading child pornography.

During their 8 month investigation, the Internet Crimes Against Children task force (ICAC) found that the photos were uploaded from two IP addresses that were traced to two hospitals.

Ward, who has been a practicing OB-GYN for more than 25 years, was working at both hospitals.

At first, he denied knowing anything about the clark_bueno account.

However, detectives discovered that the account was created in 2002, at the home were Ward was living at the time.

According to police, several conversations between Ward and others on instant messenger, email, and Craigslist were “explicit in nature” and he admitted to violating children.

In one conversation, Ward allegedly said that he raped a 15-year-old who was drunk after her father “set it up,” according to the probable cause report.

He also allegedly touched the girl’s genitals and put her genitals in his mouth. He raped a 13-year-old and he described desires to rape females and minors, according to court papers.

Police said that Ward “held a position of special trust for one of his minor female victims,” but did not specify whether she was one of his patients.
