Jogger shoved woman out of his way and pushed her in front of passing bus

(Scroll down for video) Police in the United Kingdom, are asking the public for help in identifying a man who pushed a woman into the path of a bus.

The man was running on the Putney Bridge in London, when a 33-year-old woman walked past him.

Metropolitan Police released a shocking video of the incident that showed the moment the suspect pushed the woman out of his way. She fell onto a median and was almost hit by the passing bus.

Investigating officer Sergeant Mat Knowles said that the woman “was put in extreme danger when she was knocked into the road.”

Thankfully, the quick thinking bus driver swerved out of the way and avoided hitting the woman. It took her several second to get back on her feet.

The incident occurred during rush hour, at around 7:40 a.m. The jogger did not stay at the scene or assist the woman.

Police said that since releasing the video, they have received a “good response” from people who are calling in with tips.

The jogger is described as a white man, in his early to mid 30s, with brown eyes and short brown hair. He was wearing a light gray t-shirt, dark blue shorts and graPy sneakers.
