Wendy’s employee gets death threats for failing to put cucumbers in customer’s salad

A man threatened to kill a Wendy’s employee who forgot to put cucumbers into his salad, according to police in Pennsylvania.

The New Holland Police Department said that they have arrested 58-year-old Theodore L. Gunderson Jr., after being accused of acting disorderly at the Wendy’s restaurant.

Gunderson has been charged with aggravated assault on a police officer, terroristic threats, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

He was booked into the Lancaster County Prison, and his bail has been set at $10,000.

According to the police investigation, at approximately 3:57 p.m., police officers were dispatched to a disturbance at the Wendy’s located at 804 West Main Street.

Officers arrived and found Gunderson, who was very agitated.

Gunderson had threatened to kill an employee of Wendy’s, and admitted he was upset because the salad he ordered did not contain cucumbers.

Gunderson was advised that he was under arrest, but he was in a vehicle and refused to get out.

Gunderson began to pull away as an officer had been reaching in the vehicle, but was eventually stopped and detained.
