A high school recalled yearbooks to remove the photo of “The Teacher of the Year” just two months after he was nominated, after he was arrested.

The former high school teacher, 29-year-old Jared Anderson of Texas, was arrested after boys told police he was holding sex parties, which he called “bro nights,” for teenage boys.

The boys were not students from his English class in the San Antonio school, police said.

They were reportedly all members of a church, where Anderson was a group leader. At least 7 boys participated in the sex parties, which took place at Anderson’s home.

The boys were between 15 and 17-years-old.

According to court documents, Anderson has a sign on the door of his home stating: “The last one to get naked has to get the first dare.”

This encouraged the boys to undress quickly to not to be the last one, and he participated in sex acts with the boys.

In a plea deal with prosecutors, Anderson pleaded guilty to four counts of sexual performance by a child and two count of indecency with a child by exposure.

His attorney asked for a deferred adjudication, which is a form of probation, but prosecutors argued he was not a candidate for that type of sentencing.

A judge agreed and sentenced the married father of two children to 10 years in prison. He may never teach again and he must register as a sex offender for life.
