(Scroll down for video) Police in South Carolina, were tipped off to sex sessions that occurred between deputies, a captain and a sergeant.

York County Sheriff Kevin Tolson said in a news release that the investigation uncovered that Sgt. Jennifer Forsythe had sex with several of her colleagues.

The sexual conducts occurred while they were on duty between 2003 and this year.

Tolson said that he looked at all the facts in the case to determine what discipline to hand out. He factored in the time period, position and rank of officers.

The “harshest discipline” was handed down to those who violated policy since he became sheriff in January.

The result was that Forsythe and Deputy Daniel Hamrick, who admitted to sexual encounters between 2012 and 2017, were fired.

Sgt. Wayne Richardson, Sgt. Buddy Brown and Capt. Carson Neely were suspended for two weeks without pay and Lt. Brian Boling was demoted.
