People are trying to figure out what motivated a woman to burn down a mobile home with a diaper soaked in lighter fluid, according to police in California.

The Ceres Police Department said that officers responded to a suspicious mobile home fire near the intersection of Havenwood Way and Sungate Dr.

The Ceres Fire Department was on the scene of this fire and alerted the Ceres Police Department to a possible suspect who started the fire on Thursday, at around 10:30 a.m.

Officers were directed by witnesses to 27-year-old Jamila Bodden. Witnesses stated that they saw Bodden enter the mobile home after pouring lighter fluid into a diaper.

She was then seen leaving the home with a smirk on her face just before they noticed smoke and flames. Bodden provided a statement, which was inconsistent with what witnesses provided.

When confronted with the inconsistencies, she admitted to accidentally spilling some lighter fluid on a table in the mobile home and then purposely igniting the lighter fluid.

Bodden was placed under arrest for arson.
