Married man invited woman to his home where she stole his wife's wedding ring and Rolex watch

A married man is regretting is decision to allow another woman into his home after she stole his wife's wedding ring, according to police in New York.

The New York Police Department released a photo of the woman who stole thousands of dollars in jewelry from the married man's home in Manhattan.

Police asked the public to help them identify the suspect. She was described as about 5 feet and 3 inches tall, brown hair, and heavy build.

She was wearing a black top and black pants, and was carrying a black purse.

Jean Pierre Henderson called police to say that he met the woman in middle of the night at the corners of East 51st street and Beekman Place.

He brought her back to his home. His wife, Odette Warder, was not home at the time. Henderson claims that the woman left after about an hour.

Henderson then realized that his wife's jewelry was missing, including a $30,000 wedding ring and $17,000 Rolex watch.
