(Scroll down for video) McDonald’s workers were seen on video running for their lives after a man pulled a weapon when he was denied ice cream.

Michael Delhomme of Florida, drove to McDonald’s on Linton Boulevard, and went to the drive-thru, where he and his passenger ordered soft ice cream.

A restaurant employee informed them that the soft serve ice cream machine was not working. Delhomme and his passenger, 19-year-old Jerry Henry, became upset as they really wanted ice cream.

Delhomme was seen smiling as he was looking in the direction of the store’s security camera. Moments later, a worker noticed Henry getting out of the passenger seat and walking towards the back of their white BMW.

The employee saw Henry removing a rifle from the trunk before he returned to the car.

The McDonald’s employee told her coworkers what she saw and they all ran for cover. Police rushed to the scene and with their own guns drawn and they confronted the pair.

Police found an AR-15 airsoft rifle on the floorboard of the car. The gun contained plastic pellets.

Henry was booked into the Palm Beach County jail, and was later released on his own recognizance.
