(Scroll down for video) A landlord who was about to evict his two tenants, ran over one of them with his tractor because they dug up his plants, according to police in Maine.

The York County Sheriff’s Office said that they have arrested 64-year-old Leslie Dennis of Acton, after being accused of injuring his tenant with the tractor.

Dennis has been charged with one count of aggravated assault.

He was booked into jail, and his bail has been set at $500.

According to the police investigation, Dennis and his two tenants lived in a house located on Dennis Lane.

On Monday, Dennis called police to report that his tenants were digging up his plants after they learned about their eviction.

Later in the evening, at around 9:45 p.m., one of the tenants and her adult son continued digging up plants.

Dennis became angry.

He got into his tractor and drove towards the tenant and her son.

The son hit Dennis with a shovel.

In response, Dennis ran over the son and his mother.

The woman broke her hip and was taken to the Southern Maine Health Care in Sanford.
