A murderer who killed a gay police officer, was found dead in his prison cell, according to police in the United Kingdom.

50-year-old Stefano Brizzi was found hanging in his cell after being sentenced to serve life in prison for killing 59-year-old Gordon Semple.

London police have arrested Brizzi, after being accused of killing and dismembering Semple, following a sexual encounter.

In court, Brizzi pleaded not guilty to a charge of murder, claiming that the police officer died while they were having sex.

According to the police investigation, Brizzi and Semple met through the dating app Grindr.

The police officer went to the suspect’s apartment, where they had sex.

The suspect and the victim also arranged for other men to join them.

At some point, Brizzi strangled Semple.

He then dismembered the police officer and dissolved his body in acid.
