13-year-old boy arrested for driving car containing 25 pounds of meth

(Scroll down for video) Police arrested a 13-year-old boy after he was busted for driving a vehicle, which contained meth.

The boy was driving a Dodge Avenger when he was pulled for a traffic stop on Interstate 70 in Fruita, Colorado.

A deputy from the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office said that two adult passengers were inside the car.

During a search of the car, officers found 23 packages containing 25 pounds of methamphetamine.

Police arrested the 13-year-old driver along with 22-year-old German Michel-Arreola and Irene Michel-Arreola, 19. All three are from Los Angeles, California.

The boy and his two passengers were all charged with various felonies, including drug manufacturing, possession and distribution.

The 13-year-old faces additional charges of driving without a license and failing to drive in a designated lane.
