(Scroll down for video) A mother was killed by her own son, who pushed her out of the second story window of their beautiful mansion.

Police were called to a private home in Farmington Hills, Michigan, on reports that a woman was unconscious outside her home.

When officers and emergency workers arrived, they tried to save 35-year-old Nada Huranieh with CPR and other life-saving measures, but were unable to do so.

Huranieh was pronounced dead at the scene. At first, police believed that Huranieh fell out of the window in a freak accident.

However, evidence that was collected at the scene pointed to the death being a homicide. Detectives arrested Huranieh’s 16-year-old son, and he was charged over his mother’s death.

The teenager is now being held in Children’s Village, a juvenile detention center. However, that may change as prosecutors are still reviewing evidence before they determine if he will be charged as an adult.

Huranieh, who worked as a fitness instructor at Franklin Athletic Club, was in the process of divorcing her husband, Dr. Bassel Altantawi.

Altantawi lost his medical license after he pleaded guilty to fraud, for billing Medicaid and Blue Cross Blue Shield for services he didn’t provide while working at Canton Urgent Care.

Altantawi was sentenced to one day in jail, and he was ordered to pay fines totaling $278,355.

Altantawi is not accused of having any part of his estranged wife’s death. Huranieh lived with her 16-year-old son and two daughters, who are 12 and 14 years old.
