A jilted man killed a woman after realizing that she will never be with him despite trying for 8 years.

The 27-year-old man told a court in Hangzhou, China, that he had a crush on the victim for 8 years since they were classmates in high school.

However, the two were just friends as the young woman did not reciprocate his feelings.

The man said that he moved to the United States, where he went to college.

While he was in the U.S., the two stayed in touch and the victim regularly kept him up to date on how her life was going.

Over the years, the man said that he bought her several gifts, including expensive jewelry and designer handbags.

She accepted the gifts, but he was unable to win over her heart.

The suspect said that when he spoke about dating her, the woman did not turn him down. Instead, she said that they needed to get to know each other better.

His love for the woman was so strong that he decided to give up college and he moved back to China.

The woman allowed him to move into an apartment, which she shared with another woman, but things did not go as the man had planned.

Soon, he discovered that there was a framed photo of the woman with another man in her room.

The suspect told the court that during his eight years of friendship, the woman never allowed him to take pictures with her.

40 days after he moved into the apartment, things took a turn for the worse.

One night, he overheard a phone conversation in which the woman he loved told the person on the other side of the phone how much she hated the suspect.

That night, the man said he was so distraught that he was unable to sleep.

In the morning, he ran to the woman’s room, picked her up and threw her out of the 19th-floor window. She fell to her death.

The court has not yet issued a verdict in the case.
