His bond’s total was set at $15,000.
The Blount County Sheriff’s Office has charged the suspect with first-degree theft of property, two counts of unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle, and two counts of theft of second-degree theft of property.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is preparing to file attempted murder charges for ramming into police cars during the chase.
During questioning, Peckinpaugh told police that his friends were taking him to Florida, when he got into a fight with them.
