Four teenagers in Florida, are facing multiple charges after they were seen trying to break into cars.

The teens thought that they would be able to get away without being detected as they did not leave fingerprints behind at the crime scene.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office said that they received a call regarding four black males who were seen wearing socks on their hands and checking door handles of cars.

The caller gave police the license plate of the car the teens were seen riding in. The vehicle, a blue Nissan, had been reported stolen out of Lakeland.

Deputies began circulating the area and observed the vehicle entering the parking lot of the George Jenkins High School.

A traffic stop was attempted, but after a short chase, all four males jumped out and fled. One teen ran into the school’s gym, where he was arrested.

The other three teens ran into the property of a business and were eventually caught.

Police identified the suspects as 14-year-old Rashan Harris, 16-year-old Marquel Rashard Gabriel, 17-year-old Anthony Campbell, and 17-year-old Victor Maurice Daniels Jr.

They all face charges that include burglary of an unoccupied conveyance, conspiracy to commit grand theft motor vehicle, trespass, criminal mischief, possession of burglary tools with intent to use, and resisting a law enforcement officer without violence.
