(Scroll down for video) Police in Florida, have arrested a teenage girl over the death of an MMA (mixed martial arts) fighter.

16-year-old Summer Church was arrested and is being charged as an adult.

The suspect’s mother, Judith Church, said that her daughter was not involved in the murder. Prosecutors agree that she did not shoot the victim, but they said she was the mastermind behind his death.

The incident unfolded on July 3, when two armed teens broke into the home of MMA fighter 25-year-old Aaron Rajman.

The teens were armed with guns as they tried to rob his home. A fight ensued and Rajman was shot dead.

After a long investigation, police arrested three suspects.

Police identified the suspects as Church, 19-year-old Jace Swinton, and Roberto Ortiz, 18. All three teens were charged with first-degree murder.

The two males were also charged with two counts each of home invasion with a deadly weapon.

Judith Church said that her daughter and Swinton, who was her boyfriend at the time, were friends of Rajman and they had been to his house before.
