A mother of 6 children will be deported to Mexico, after being convicted of killing her baby because he was fussy, according to police in California.

The San Diego County District Attorney’s Office said that 35-year-old Guadalupe O’Campos, was found guilty of assault on a child causing death.

San Diego Judge Amalia Meza sentenced the mother to life in prison.

If O’Campos gets paroled, she will be deported to Mexico.

According to the police investigation, O’Campos and her 6 children were illegally residing in the United States.

One night, 9-month-old Kevin Machado was fussy.

O’Campos placed him in her bed, but when he would not stop crying, the mother kicked her baby in the head and shook him.

When Machado became unresponsive, O’Campos went to a neighbor’s house to call 911.

Machado was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died of his injuries.

Doctors told investigators that the baby died as a result of violent shaking and had several impact sites on his head.

O’Campos claimed that the injuries were the result of the baby falling down from her bed, but the injuries were not consistent with a fall.

O’Campos’ 16-year-old daughter from a previous marriage said that she was in the bathroom when she heard a loud noise.

She then heard her mother screaming that her baby was dying.

O’Campos’ husband was home during the incident, but he wasn’t charged.
