Police officer blocks deer on bridge for not paying toll

(Scroll down for video) A deer was unable to make it across a bridge after being blocked by police officer for not paying toll, according to police in California.

The California Highway Patrol in Oakland, said that the incident unfolded on the Bay Bridge, on Tuesday Morning.

CHP Oakland wrote on Twitter: “This morning, our officers stopped a doe for toll evasion on the Bay Bridge. She said she usually pays it, but today she was a buck short.”

Police also snapped a picture of the deer in middle of the road, staring down the officers on the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge.

The tweet went viral, racking up 35,000 retweets and more than 100,000 likes.

CHP Officer Matthew Hamer said that after a few minutes, the deer ran away and disappeared in the woods.
